About

You Do Not Have To Do This Big Work Alone

MEET OUR AMAZING TEAM! Rae, Lacey, Heather, Yoletzin, Erin & Erin, Diandra, Mayzha, & Karen! As a parent, I have walked this path with four neurodivergent children of my own. As a State Certified Special Education teacher, Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst and AMI-trained Elementary Guide, I am uniquely qualified to support you and your children within their Montessori environments, modify and accommodate for their educational needs, as well as train and mentor parents, families, and educators in the science of human behavior. Let us help you help the children in your care. IN A WORLD WITHOUT MASKING... Please do not contact us if you are looking to “fix” your child or their behavior so they seem more “normal” or less autistic – there are plenty of traditional ABA centers in the area who will do that for you. We view stimming as a coping and calming behavior so we cannot and will not act to suppress stimming behaviors unless it compromises their personal safety or the safety of others. We have a fully transparent, open-door practice with consideration to privacy laws and HIPAA compliance. You are invited to remain in our waiting area during your child’s session, and you may be asked to actively participate in your child’s 1:1 sessions unless other children and families are around. TEACHERS * SCHOOLS * FAMILIES Our aim is to acknowledge and validate the concerns you have, and offer collaborative and compassionate, evidence-based, practical strategies that align with inclusive and neurodivegent-affirming special education practices, and trauma-informed behavior analysis, guided by the framework of a Montessori, whole-child approach to education and to life. Our work is to teach new skills and build upon those skills and strengths your child already has, and bring inclusivity into Montessori schools and classrooms. We are here to support you and your children, as well as educate and support families and teachers through the elementary years. TIER 3 MONTESSORI * SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM * half-day/full-day Limit of 6 children per morning or afternoon session. This is our signature program, designed to bring accessibility, equity, and inclusion for families seeking an effective natural environment, ABA-based education, integrated with the hands-on experience of the Montessori Prepared Environment. Individual & small group, mixed-age classes. We are committed to working with you and your child to find their “optimal fit” for learning, even if they have been sent away from other schools.  The Montessori daily morning work cycles are led by a teacher, and the children are then supported individually and in small groups by a Montessori Behavior Intervention Assistant to build upon their strengths, and to help fill in any learning gaps. If your child is enrolled in our Montessori ABA program, they will be assigned to one of our behavior therapists, who will seamlessly integrate your child’s goals within their work cycle. Daily sessions include: Functional/Practical Life Skills, Social Skills, Going Out Community Inclusion, and Grace & Courtesy Lunchtime Social Groups. This program is flexible; based on your preferred schedule, and ideal for: * Children with a diagnosis. Any diagnosis. *Children with no diagnosis or awaiting testing. * Home school families. * Families looking to transition into a more traditional Montessori program. * Any family who has been sent away from a Montessori program due to their child’s behavior challenges, but still believes the hands-on Montessori approach may be best for their child. (We believe this too!) BALANCE * Home-Based Parent Mentoring Program This short 3-6 month program is for families who would like immediate and more direct involvement in their child’s therapy program. Parents will be given an account profile to our online portal, with access to video lessons, their child’s programs, and updated performance progress. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will require only 2, 1-hour sessions per week with the family for guidance and mentorship. The parent or caregiver will need to practice the skills only twice a day for about 5-10 minutes each at their convenience, and keep the data log updated. These short practice sessions should be recorded, and are easily uploaded onto the encrypted, HIPAA-compliant platform for the behavior analyst to provide feedback and make any customized program adjustments. This program is flexible, and can be started immediately, so it is ideal for families on waitlists for ABA therapy at other locations. Self-pay/private pay only. Payment plans accepted.
